Sharing Quote Link and Map Link

The Copy Quote Link and Copy Map Link options let you copy links that you can provide the customer for collaboration and feedback. The instructions below will guide you on how to use each option.

Quote Link

The Quote Link is used to give the client or customer a visual of the quote and the property measurements and design side by side. Customers are able to visualize the content of the quote document on a satellite image of their property and provide feedback by drawing, commenting, or adding photos to the property.

To share this link with your customers:

  1. Go to the quote that you want to share.

  2. Find and click the SHARE button.

  1. Click the Copy Quote Link option to select.

  2. The Copy Quote Link… dialog box will appear. Click the COPY button to copy the system generated link.

  1. You can now paste the link to any communication platform (e.g. email, chat, social media, etc.)

  2. Click the CLOSE button to close the Copy Quote Link… dialog box.

Map Link

The Map Link is used to collaborate and communicate with your clients. This link allows a client to view the measurements, design, labels, and more which you have added to their property. The client is then able to draw, comment, and add photos to make suggestions or corrections to your designs.

To share this link with your customers:

  1. Go to the quote that you want to share.

  2. Find and click the SHARE button.

Maplink
  1. Click the Copy Map Link option to select.

  2. The Copy Map Link… dialog box will appear. Click the COPY button to copy the system generated link.

  1. You can now paste the link to any communication platform (e.g. email, chat, social media, etc.)

  2. Click the CLOSE button to close the Copy Map Link… dialog box.

Customer Accessing Quote/Map Links

The Quote Link and Map Link can be shared with your clients via text, email, or other messaging platforms.. 

For a client to access this quote, they will simply:

  1. Click the Link to access the Quote.

  1. Click the PROCEED button to access and view the quote/map.

Customer Adding Markup

The Markup tool lets customers draw and add markup on an area of the map within the Quote or Map Links.

  1. Click the PROVIDE FEEDBACK button to display more options.

  1. Click MARKUP to enable the markup tool.

  1. On the map, click and drag to draw in the area/layer that you want to markup.

  1. The Edit Markup dialog box will appear. You can update the Label field or use the existing value.

  1. Click the SAVE MARKUP button to apply the changes.

  2. To exit the Markup Mode, click the STOP button.

  1. Click the SAVE & SUBMIT button to apply the changes.

  2. The Submit Feedback dialog box will appear. Specify the following:

    1. Your Name

    2. Message - customer should enter any additional information they want to communicate to you here

  1. Click the SUBMIT button to update the quote with the added photos.

Customer Adding Photos

The Photos option lets customers add photos to a quote.

  1. Click the PROVIDE FEEDBACK button to display more options.

  1. Click PHOTOS to add a photo.

  1. The Customer Photos dialog box will appear, click the UPLOAD PHOTOS button.

  1. The File Location window will appear, find and select the image file that you want to upload.

  1. Click the Open button to upload the selected photo.

  2. The Edit Photo window will appear, specify the following information:

    1. Photo Name

    2. Description

  1. Click the SAVE PHOTO button.

  2. The Customer Photos window will appear displaying the selected photos. Click the SAVE & SUBMIT button.

  1. The Submit Feedback dialog box will appear. Specify the following:

    1. Your Name*

    2. Message

  1. Click the SUBMIT button to update the quote with the added photos.

  2. A Confirmation message will appear indicating that your feedback was submitted.

Customer Declining Quote

The Decline Quote option lets your customer add a comment and decline the quote. 

  1. On the Lower Left of the screen, find and click the DECLINE link.

  1. A Confirmation dialog box will appear. In the Comment field, enter the reason for declining the quote.

  1. Click DECLINE to confirm. A Confirmation message will appear indicating that the quote has been declined.

Viewing Customer Feedback/Photos

The FEEDBACK button lets you access customer feedback and customer uploaded photos. This button will only be visible to you when a user has submitted feedback. If you do not see this button on your quote screen, then your customer has not submitted any feedback for your review.

  1. Go to the Quote that you want to review.

  2. On the lower left of the map, find and click the FEEDBACK button.

  1. The Feedback dialog box will appear. To view customer uploaded photos, click the CUSTOMER PHOTOS button.

  1. You can accept all photos by clicking the ACCEPT ALL PHOTOS button or manually select a photo and accept them individually.
